COMMUNITY

At Meadowood Church, it is our goal create a community that builds faith, character and passion. We believe everyone should play a part in that community, no matter how big or small. As a church in Aurora Colorado, we are passionate about staying relevant to the communities in which we work and live and we have several different ministries to meet those various needs. Our children’s ministry “Kingdom Fire Kids”, youth group “CrossFire” and Community Groups are some of ways we are trying to live out the Gospel.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

At Meadowood, we believe that Christians are called to grow in Christ together! We all need fellowship, encouragement and support from the body of Christ to grow into the people God created us to be.

We believe that attending service on the weekend is only a part of the Christian life, and that Community Groups are an essential part of the Christian faith.

Community Groups are small groups that meet together regularly. Usually a group will consist of 6-12 members, and will meet to study God’s Word, to help one another grow, to worship and to support and encourage one another through the events and seasons of our lives.  For those who are new, we recommend checking out our Beta Group, a shortened (6 week) group that meets at the church and helps you get into the rhythm and feel of a Community Group.

Find out more about our community groups here.

WORSHIP TEAM

Our Worship Team is open to those with a passion for music and the arts. The worship team brings us into the presence of God during the worship time each week. They also focus on creating a worship space for services, as well as special events for creative worship.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS TEAM

Our First Impressions Team is for those “people” people who love to make you feel at home at Meadowood. It’s comprised of our hospitality team, greeter team, and usher team.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY (Kingdom Fire Kids)

Kingdom Fire Kids is for the younger generation. Children ages 4yrs-5th grade meet each Sunday for worship and learning.  The kids have their own time each week where they worship together as a large group and then break up into smaller groups by age and do activities, crafts, learn Bible stories and pray together.

YOUTH GROUP (CROSSFIRE)

Our Youth Group, Crossfire is for students in 6th -12th grade.  They have a Bible Study time each Sunday at 9am as well as a time on Wednesdays at 7pm to hang out, have fun and grow in their relationship with Christ and each other. You can check out their facebook page.
