What should you know about the PTCO?
- It is a group consisting of parents with students at MCS, teachers and staff from MCS, and any interested Meadowood church members.
- You are already a member if your child attends MCS.
- Our meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm
- Meeting attendance counts toward your 30 hours of required volunteer time
- Childcare is provided during meeting

Old Business
Maya Jeans day begins November 18th, students who pay $2 by
Wednesday November 16th can wear jeans that are clean without holes and non-sagging with the MCS logo uniform shirt. **Note to parents if you did not pay and student presents with jeans you will be notified to bring change of clothes to school
Jeans days will be January 20th, April 20th, and May 18th

Mrs. Roby Invite Military members; active duty, reserve, retired and their families to participate in our special chapel onThursday, November 11th at 2:30pm for MCS to show their appreciation for their service and dedication. The VFW Post across the street has been invited to participate

- Procuring outstanding funds, however this will go to prizes (Proxy – Barb) Prizes are 25% of profit
- Suggestions for school-wide pizza party instead of individual prizes
- January is the goal for the establishment of a prize committee
Box Tops – Holly
- Online account establish to track funds
- October 18th final collection for this quarter – $80 turned in so far
- October 31st deadline to turn into Box Tops receive check in December
- Teachers please remind families to participate
Old Business
- Teacherwishlist.com – Get info to parents encourage participation to help teachers defer their out of pocket expenses.
- Hot Lunch – One coordinator at present Shelly who will resign in January Investigate potential coordinators and options. Previous suggestions from Barbara & Mrs. Swain need to be explored. Notice there is a hot lunch fund; this is a commitment of time and gas only What is our current average number of orders?

- Artwork for Ed. not a significant amount of funds, fun for students
- Do not want to make fundraising a burden on families
- Pastor Michael concerned about addressing logistics when resolved report back for approval – Val Bell to assist with process, teacher input requested

Pay $1-2 for an additional dress down day/purchase ticket booklet
In house events suggested such as Sports night, or Pancake breakfast
- Continue to brainstorm and bring to Pastor Michael for approval
- January to May there are no fundraisers until Race for Ed.
- Send thoughts and ideas to Larisa – perhaps something near Valentine’s Day
- Mrs. Stovall suggests definitive plan for fundraising before new school year starts
- Mrs. Humiston – Pastor Michael and Barb reports she is recovering well. Please continue to keep her family in prayer
New Business
- Increase budget for ACSI – need additional $300 to complete this school year. Motion received to allocate adequate funding, vote completed – Approved
- Skate City – MCS can bring own music when group participates – Jeff H. will make a compilation CD, encourage families to bring music they would like to hear to the school with tracks indicated. CDs can be left in the front office and will be returned once CD is made.
- Suggests establishing School Sports teams through the community associations. More information needed – Will investigate for next school year
- Fall Family Work Day is Saturday, October 15th, 9am – 3 pm Colorado Community Church will be here to help, encourage church and school participation
Floor Opened
- No volunteer hours for cooking for Mrs. Humiston
- Lunch time rules reviewed – Parents please encourage your children to eat
- Pastor Michael – Donna Garcia with the Local Housing Association hosting a Sale in Big Lots parking lot on Sunday, October 9th from 7am-7pm Booth space acquired to host Meadowood Church and School Flyers, magnets, pencils…etc. Work in shifts receive volunteer hours for participation, email to be sent to parents requesting volunteers and support
